As an advanced product engineer for Gast Manufacturing, I led the design of three products. Two of these were miniature reciprocating diaphragm compressors (the 3D and 15D pictured below) that were used in gas detection applications requiring high chemical resistance, low sound, and optimal pneumatic performance. The third product was a linear compressor utilizing a permanent magnet armature and a specialized copper coil around an e-laminated iron core for ultra quiet operation.
